TOPs Balance allows you to balance mobile device addiction with knowledge!

You can now transform your childs technology use while enhancing their education by downloading TOPs Balance. Whenever a user reaches for their device, a “Knowledge Burst” button is permanently positioned on the device unlock screen.

Swiping the “Knowledge Burst” button activates a 10-second infusion of grade specific educational content that users pass through prior to accessing their home screen. The material ranges from moments in history, vocabulary and science all combined with dramatic imagery and drawn from partnerships with content leaders such as Encyclopedia Britannica, Merriam Webster and Getty Images.

Parents and users first customize the intensity of learning by selecting either optional or mandatory delivery of “Knowledge Bursts.” Then users are prompted with “Knowledge Bursts” at every device unlock, thereby balancing their mobile device overuse.

• Optional (low intensity): The optional delivery method gives the user a unique prompt or persuasive option for a Knowledge Burst at every unlock.

• Mandatory (high intensity): The mandatory delivery method offers a more dedicated balance strategy and requires the completion of a Knowledge Burst at every unlock or popular apps will be temporarily blocked.

TOPs Balance becomes ubiquitous while the user’s device has now been effectively transformed into a powerful and effortless knowledge delivery system.

IMPORTANT NOTICES:

1. MEDICAL APPS: Do not install the Mandatory version of TOPs Balance if the user needs access to medical apps on their mobile device since TOPs Balance will temporarily block (for 10 seconds) all apps rated greater than 4+ while Knowledge Bursts are being delivered. Both Mandatory and Optional users of TOPs Balance can exit a TOPs Knowledge Burst at any time in an emergency by simply clicking on the device home button.

2. APP FOLDERS: After installing TOPs Balance, app folder icons will not return to their original folder/location if the Mandatory delivery method is selected and app folders are in use. The apps will come back in alphabetical order. There is no impact with the use of app folders if Optional delivery is chosen.
